CDC Guidelines for Pre-Departure and Post-Arrival Medical Screening and Treatment of U.S.-Bound Refugees
These guidelines were developed by CDC for health care providers who may see refugees at any point during the resettlement process. The guidelines aim to: promote and improve the health of the refugee, prevent disease, and familiarize refugees with the U.S. health care system.

These guidelines were developed by CDC to assist State public health departments and medical professionals/clinicians in determining the best tests to perform based on evidence during routine post-arrival medical screening of refugees.
