News: Health Care Law Expands Preventive Services for Women
As of Aug 1, 2012, all insurance plans are required to offer eight additional preventive health services for women at no extra charge. These include: well-woman visits, gestational diabetes screenings, breastfeeding support, domestic and interpersonal violence screening and counseling, FDA-approved contraceptive products, HPV DNA testing, STI counseling, and HIV screening and counseling.
